Could you confirm the exact model of the PowerColor card you photographed?

- R9700 32G-B (active/blower cooling)
- R9700S 32G-P (passive cooling)

I photographed the active/blower model (32G-B). The released Alphacool R9700 waterblock fits on this version. I don't know whether it's compatible with the R9700S 32G-P version.

18mm fit well on my block.

have you measured flow? 90° connectors on the blocks may impede flow and make temp go up a few degrees

OK, so I was running 2 Nexxos 480s X-Flow (45 + 60mm), Heatkiller Pro IV, Alphacool RAM block, a 6900XT Alphacool block in a very large case off of a single Aquastream Ultimate at 100% and had 129-132L/h.
Now with the additional 9700 GPU block and more fittings which totals roughly 12x 90° and maybe 8x 45° and flow is 112L/h.

Still plenty and I haven't noticed any difference in temperature. Biggest drop is going to come from the block, not from 2 fittings. You'll be fine
