Eisbaer 240LT for CPU and GPU

Dear Alphacool,

I have mounted an Alphacool Eisbaer 240LT to cool my Ryzen 3600. It's working fine (actually the air going through the radiator is hardly warm). Now I would like to extend to cooling loop for my GPU (MSI 5700XT). I would like to use the same radiator and just add an eiswolf kit.
Many thanks for your answers.

Regards

The 240 mm radiator will be not enough for your GPU and CPU. A 360 mm radiator would work. For the MSI 5700XT we dont have a Eiswolf solution and we will not have one with the new Eiswolf 2. We will offer the Eiswolf 2 for the 5700/5700XT reference layout not for custom designs. Not sure if we will offer later custom versions or if we wait for the next GPU generation from AMD and Nvidia.
To ad a second radiator with the GPU cooler, the Eisbaer LT pump is too weak.

The best way would be to built a normal DIY water cooling loop and to sell the Eisbaer LT.

This set: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/neue...-gaming-copper-30-3x120mm-komplettset?c=22311
This GPU cooler: https://www.alphacool.com/shop/graf...xi-gpx-a-radeon-5600/5700-xt-pulse/mech-evoke
And a extension set to ad the block into the loop of the set: https://www.alphacool.com/search?sSearch=extension

To compare... price for Eiswolf 2 will be 199€. So this is not much more expensive than to make a loop with Eisbaer and Eiswolf (if this would be possible for you).

Dear Eddy,

Thanks for your answer. I am considering building a custom loop then. Beside the pump and reservoir (which i have already identified), what would you recommend as parts list? I can accommodate 2 * 240mm radiators in my case. I was thinking about that:
Many thanks,

Hi, it is not only fitting , fluid and connection you would need a pump and reservoir too. For the tubing i personally love the new TPV tubing and connections but it is up to you. If you want we can create an offer for you with all the needed parts.

Okay, then you need to write an email to info@alphacool.com and please do not forget to forward your address and name so we can put the information to our system regarding the offer. For this reservoir you need a DDC pump. Please also do not forget to tell them that you want to use this reservoir and need only the pump. Thank you.

I was also considering to choose Eisbaer LT240 and expand it later with gpu block and possibly two 240 rad. But you suggesting Eisturm Gaming set instead and as I see these two have the same DC-LT 2600 pump in it. Can you please advise?

What is the smallest housing/reservoir for a DDC VPP755 pump btw? If you would consider space constrain?

DDC and VPP755 are different pumps ;-) You can use the Eisstation for DDC or VPP. DDC Version is a bit smaller.

DDC Version is a bit smaller.

Or you can use this for VPP755 (or 655). Its a bit higher than the Eisstation, but it is shorter in the length and wide.

Top for the DDC Pump... works also with the reservoir for the D5 Top.

A very small unit with we use for 1U Serverracks is this.

Works perfect with this pump:

Thanks for the variety of options :)

Would you consider using a VPP pump with the top and using reservoir only for the time of filling/bleeding by inserting into the loop with a quick release connector?

I am more a fan of Reservoir Pump top combo than to use both separately. Less space, looks nicer and easier to use in any way in my opinion. And i personally prefere the DDC310 pump. Less power than a VPP but strong enough for a loop with 1-2 GPUs, CPU and 2 rads. And the DDC310 is very quiet, no need to control the speed. I like that pump very much.

Hi Eddy, one more question :)
I am still considering getting the Eisbaer LT240 for the time being and later reuse the radiator when expanding to GPU+2nd rad.
Is the radiator in LT240 the same as the NexXxos v.2 line?

Also as I see it's kind of out of stock everywhere or will be in stock only in October.. is there a chance that a new version will come out (just like Eiswolf2 and Aurora) with TPV hose and the new DC-LT2 pump?
