Eisbaer 360 pump issue?

How do i know if the pump is working on the original eisbaer 360 (not aurora). I just installed it today and I cant hear the pump and my temps are all over the place. Fans are working fine, lights are on on the pump head, Should you be able to see movement in the pump head through the window?

I have tried placing it in CPU_FAN1 and PUMP_FAN1 on my mobo (x570 Tomahawk). These are the only ones that will reach. They are 4pin PWM headers, but I have tried changing them from PWM to DC.

MSI dragon centre shows the pump speed as being 2500 RPM i think, but at 100%, im still struggling with the temps.

When the Eisbaer is properly filled, you can't see it so clearly on the window. The easiest way to detect it is with a flow sensor or similar. When did you install the Eisbaer? A picture of the setup is always helpful? Which CPU?

Thanks Thomas, Behind the clear screen, i can see what looks like an impeller, is that right? If so, that should be moving. I was able to get a camera in there to record a video.

When you say properly filled, I am using the eisbaer AIO, so its prefilled. I can see the liquid in the pump head. Its on a 5800x.

I have taken it out so i can use my PC. Is it "OK" to plug an AIO into the fan header whilst its not installed in a case to test it?

Sure, no problem. Would be also good to check the rpm in Bios. And check if the fan header is running at full speed. Most mainboards have an automatic regulation on every fan header. But the pump needs to run everytime at full speed.

yeah, i checked for this. The only options I can change in the bios are PWM/DC and smart fan on or off. I thought the right option was DC and Smart fan off.

I will check again with it outside my PC so i can better see the pump head. Should i see that "impeller" moving?

Where did you mount the radiator? Front? With tubes on the top? If your Mainboard shows a rpm of 2500 the impeller is running well. I think more you have an air bubble inside the pump. That makes always a strange noise.

Thanks, I will give it another go today. I have the radiator mounted at the top.
