Eisbaer Aurora AIO mounting question

I just got an Eisbaer Aurora 360 AIO and coupled it with Eiswolf GPU AIO, my GPU - 3090 is running nice and cool ( 45 idle, 70 in furmark) however the CPU - 5900x is supper hot 65 degrees idle and reaches 90 degrees in prime 95, around 80 degrees while playing in PUBG.

I am pretty sure i mounted it wrong but it was little unclear how to set up the mounting screws for this, the below picture is the manual for AM4 mount, my question is the nut on the bottom, how hard far should i screw it on that screw all the way to the top so that is compresses the spring or just enough to hold the crew in place ?

Also the mount to the mobo it says to finger tighten it without using a screwdriver, but i bet I can tighten it real hard even without a screwdriver, do I need to screw it all the way down so that the threads bottom out or is there a limit where it will crush my CPU ?


Also I got this weird private message on forum and this is compleately inapropriate as this is not PC related and I think this user should be banned.

The nut at the bottom is used solely to hold the mounting bolt with the springs and washers in place for assembly. Theoretically, you can also omit it completely. Otherwise, you should screw it on tightly so that the screw with the washers and spring sit firmly on the holder frame.

So I have remounted the CPU block, I think I did it correctly. The threads bottomed out on the backplate and didn't go any further. However, the issue persists. the 5900x runs at 72 degrees Idle, opening chrome momentarily pushes it to 80 degrees.

Meanwhile, in the same loop, the 3090 runs at 48 degrees. Clearly, something is wrong with the CPU part of the loop. See the screenshots below. At this point I have remounted it 3 times with the same results. The pumps are running at full speed, the fans at around 30% in the LinLi O11 dynamic case. I am out of ideas ...

hahah if it only be that easy, no after further research these temps are normal the 5900x just boots as high as possible within given temp limits so 89 to 90 degrees is normal phenomenon.

It's true, the 5800X can be considered as the hottest, then comes the 5950X, then the 5900X.
And peak temperatures at 90°C are possible, my 5800X, cooled by the Eisbaer reaches 79°C. But the idle temperature shold be at 3X°C, when I open the window, I reach 28°C for the CPU at idling.
When you have 72°C at idle, then there is a lot completely wrong. Either the physical installation, or there is some software just terrorizing your CPU.

@DirtyTT, Have you checked that the contact pressure from the cooler is correct? You can tell by the imprints of the thermal paste. Do you have a picture to check this?
