Eisbaer pump speed good @3000+ RPM ?

I believe the pump speed of the Eisbaer is supposed to be 2600RPM. My pump at 100% reads over 3000RPM in fancontrol in Linux and in multiple apps in Windows. Do I need to cut power to slow down to 2600 or below to maintain longevity of pump. Or, is it being read incorrectly by both OS ? It also reads higher @90% PWM than it does @100% PWM in both operating systems if that matters.

Normal rpm is 2600 (+/-10%). If it runs with 3000 rpm, let it like it is. Thats not a relevant issue. You only got a bit more performance ;-)

It was actually 3186 RPM last I checked. I was worried that a 22% increase may be a bad thing. What would cause it to run that much faster ?

I consulted our technical department again and they said it is no problem at all. You can run it like this without any worries.
