Eisbecher Aurora 250mm res: what's the trick to removing the tube?

The pump top/body on the bottom comes off easily enough, but I cannot remove the glass tube from the top part. Is it threaded in? The manual is not clear on this. I'm afraid if I use any more force it will break the glass.

I wonder since it's an older product if the glass and top gasket melded together after sitting in its box for years.

HI,

Normally you can pull out the Tube. It is not threaded but it can help to spin it when you pull it out.
