Hi,
I have the Eisblock Aurora for the 4090 Suprim X but my card has went back for RMA. When disassembling, I noticed the thermal pads provided dried out and rip very easily and it wasn't possible to get them off cleanly to be reused. I therefore need replacement thermal pads.
I understand Alphacool don't offer precut versions, so have looked at the manual and tried to find the correct pads that I can cut to size. It would appear to me however to get the sizes I need, it would take...roughly three 100x100x1mm pads, two 120x20x1mm pads (purely because there's two pads that need 105mm in length which the 100x100 doesn't cover) and 2x 100x100x3mm pads at a minimum...
Considering these cost about 30 euro each, the cost of the pads itself is more than buying a whole new waterblock (about £140 here) which makes me think I've gotten something wrong...
Can anyone confirm?
