Eiswolf 2 AIO pump failed - replace or upgrade?

Hi Team,
I have rtx3090 with Eiswolf 2 AIO with DC-LT2 pump. Im happy with cooling performance but in the same time everyone using similar cards with water cooling report lower temps than mine (~350-360W consumption and temps of 68-70 core with 86-88 hot spot, 85 vram on 25C-28C ambient temp) this was fairly consistent with replacing termo pads and paste regularly with Gelid gp ultimate and arctic mx6 paste and new coolant and water block cleaning.
So my question is, sholud replace or upgrade
1. Easiest will be to get new dclt2 pump
2. Or get some reservoir with apex pump for extra flow that should improve cooling by few degrees
2.1. Should #15380 reservoir with #12965 gpu terminal and quick fit hose #12983 will be all that is needed or Im missing something?

Thanks for your time on this and have a nice day

Hi,

A new DC-LT pump won’t help you. It’s difficult to compare an AIO with a custom water-cooling loop. Naturally, the pump in an AIO is nowhere near as powerful as the pump used in a proper custom loop.

However, the temperatures still seem a little too high to me. The Gelid pads are actually too hard for this water block. I would have recommended thermal putty instead—it outperforms thermal pads in every respect.

You can buy the parts to modify the AIO, but I’d recommend replacing all the tubing. Extension kits are usually either too short, too long, or otherwise unsuitable. I’d simply buy three metres of 12.7/7.6 mm TPV tubing and cut everything to the required length yourself. There’s no need to replace the fittings themselves.
