I noticed the new 1-Slot 5090 water block is compatible with PNY models.

"The ES RTX 5090 Reference 1-slot design REV1 with backplate has been redesigned to offer greater compatibility with other graphics cards." Are there any other differences between the original model 10262 and the REV1 model 10291?

I have the old model installed with Inno3D, and I'm interested in mounting it on a PNY card.

There are three small differences:

  1. For the MSI cards, suitable screws are included for the metal backplate, which must continue to be used. This … let’s call it a … metal star directly behind the GPU that is fastened with 4 screws.
  2. The connection terminal has been slightly modified to allow larger fittings to fit.
  3. The cooler has been minimally extended to ensure additional compatibility.

Yes. But we have also changed this with the second batch of the first version.
My 10262 doesn't have the 2 mosfets cover.
Received it 2 weeks ago from aquatuning after 1.5 month of waiting because was out of stock everywhere.
Also the M2x8mm for the msi was included, so i think its latest (second) batch.

It's a little annoying to wait for a 300euro block because out of stock and then received the "old" version without the appropriate vrm cover.

These two mosfets only have 2W each. They don’t actually need any cooling at all. They’re not even marked on the heatmap. The only reason we decided to cool them in the new version is because some people were concerned. It’s not really relevant.
