Help with first custom loop for the right fittings

Hi guys, this is my first ever custom loop with soft tubing EPDM 16/10 and was wondering if this Apex fittings are the right ones as I can't see if they're a compression fittings or not. Im planning to use the Alphacool Apex Grip Schlauchanschluss 16/10mm G1/4 on both my Alphacool 420mm radiators, and the Apex rotatory fittings on both inlet/outlet of the pump, and then one on my RAM waterblock and the last one on CPU waterblock to make the angling easier, does this rotatory fittings need the previous Alphacool Apex Grip Schlauchanschluss 16/10mm G1/4 to be used on top or they come with their own?

PS. I included my order with the fittings I specified in text for better reference and a very poor sketch on how Im planning the loop, one rad is on the top, second one on the side of my Meshify 3XL, any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated!

The angled fittings do not include a tube fitting, so you still need to screw in a suitable tube fitting separately.

Based on your pictures, you need a total of 10 tube fittings. You currently have 12, so that is more than enough.

Overall, everything actually looks good. The only question is: what do you want to do with the ball valve? Where exactly are you planning to install it? The Core Tube 70 does not have an extra port for a drain port. Are you planning to install it on the radiator?

By the way, the Core Tube 70 is also available as B-stock. These units were never used, but received a few small cosmetic imperfections during production. They are €30 cheaper, though. Once installed, the imperfections are not visible from the outside.

Hi Eddy! I'm the guy that did the quickfittings question in Reddit! I didn't check the Core 70 beforehand and thought it had a extra port, ty for pointing it out. I added the valve because someone suggested me that for first custom loop I need one, but after reading a bit, I think I will just discard it honestly as I'm going to replace that with the quick disconnect fittings you recommended me. I removed some things from the previous cart to adjust to my budget and replaced the Core 70 with stock B, and added the EPDM tube but says arrive date is exceeded will that affect when I will receive the whole order? I attached new one could you give it a look and see if everything seems ok if it's not too much asking?

Also when routing the tubes through rads, reservoir pump and waterblocks, is there any universal order I should follow or rules I should consider? The routing in my sketch is good?

What a small world sometimes.

Orders are only shipped once all parts are in stock. We currently have such high demand for EPDM tubing that we are having quite a bit of trouble increasing the quantity of incoming stock and getting it into the main warehouse quickly enough.

However, 1 m of tubing will not be enough for your loop anyway. You should take the 3 m pack. It is shown as out of stock in the shop, but in reality there are still a few available. However, you would need to order today, because by tomorrow those will almost certainly be gone as well. After that, it will take at least another 4 weeks until a new delivery arrives.

For a loop with one CPU and one GPU, the order of the components is completely irrelevant. Yes, there are many people who recommend and prefer certain loop orders and insist that it has to be done one way or another, but in the end it does not really matter.

Of course, if you go directly from the GPU into the CPU, the cooling performance on the CPU will be slightly worse than if there is a radiator in between. But ultimately, this is not really an issue, as the differences are small and do not cause any real problem.

Just placed my order! Fingers crossed it was in time for the stock of the EPDM 3m. As for the loop, I'm not doing the GPU yet as it's an Aorus Gigabyte Xtreme Waterforce 5090 AIO and I don't want to lose the warranty on it if the connector happens to melt, I'm just doing CPU to RAM to Radiator loop. Thanks a lot for all your answers and taking the time to answer Eddy, you're a saviour really and helped a lot on my first custom loop! <3

Edit: its 23.11pm and the order is still in process rip, guess I was late
