How to correctly use the MCX 5x divider?

Hi,

I am unsure how to use MCX 5x divider. In the product pictures the 5x divider is used inline like the 2x.

Now the 2x has a flow restriction in the G1/4" channel separating the two 3mm nozzles. I assume this is to force water through the 3mm nozzle. On the 5x however there is no restriction. Do I seal one G1/4" opening and use all 5 nozzles to another MCX 5x? If so, is the throughput enough?

I wanted to use the 5x because I have a lot of cold plates that require 3mm (GPU back plate, 2 x nvme, mcx for chip set, ram cooling). Should I just daisy-chain five MCX 2x dividers?

Hi,

for the best usage you would need 2 MCX 5x and close one side with a screw plug. Then you can go to 5 IN´s with one of them and the other MCX one is connected with the OUT of the components.
