hey all, i just joined the forum. all the reviewers i usually use have good things to say about alphacool's 6800xt block, so i'm excited to try out my first custom loop. i have some questions about the parts list i should use:
my case, the ssupd meshlicious, accommodates 1 280mm radiator on the front-i've seen some mods that mount a second radiator, but i'm not up to that level of modding yet. right now i'm using a cpu AIO(5600x), but i mostly just use my pc to game(reference 6800xt), and my cpu temp never really goes anywhere while my gpu does. i'd like to loop my gpu and cpu together. i only found one result previously posted here for keyword searching my case or its manufacturer, linked below.
1. is 1 280mm radiator up to the task of cooling a lightly-loaded 5600x and a 6800xt at the same time?
2. should i use the pump built into an eisbaer, the one built into an eiswolf, or a discrete pump unit?
3. in this thread i think(translated lol) it's explained that there's not a lot of point to using 2 pumps on 1 radiator. is that correct?
4. would using the two aio blocks together mean i don't need a reservoir? is it possible to buy an eiswolf block+pump without the 360mm rad attached?
5. overall, what would be the best combination of alphacool parts to construct this loop? is best performance going to be different than best value here?
sorry for potentially basic questions, thanks for reading.
