I own a Gainward GeForce RTX 4090 Phantom and recently purchased the Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-N RTX 4090 GameRock + Phantom. According to the instructions, the backplate requires 4x 100x8x3mm thermal pads, but I only received two. I have a few questions:
- Is it possible to adequately cool the GPU with only two thermal pads of this size on the backplate?
- I have these thermal pads: Amazon Thermal Pads and could stack them to achieve the required 3mm thickness. However, will the thermal conductivity remain effective in this configuration?
- What are your general experiences using this block with the Phantom GPU?
