Modify AIO Eiswolf 2 to custom loop - white residue in cooler?

Hello,
I purchased the Eiswolf 2 AIO for Radeon 3080 {14419_Alphacool_Eiswolf_2_AIO_360mm_Radeon_3080-3090_TUF_with_Backplate) in 2022 and have used with my 3080Ti until recently when I decided to add a CPU cooler and reservoir. After removing the stock TPV hoses and draining the milky-colored coolant, I noticed my GPU cooler channels have a white residue in them:

Any idea what this is from? Should it be a concern, does it impede cooling performance? My 3080Ti has been running at about 80oC under load which seems a little high to me ( I confess I did not check those temps until recently so I can't confirm if its a decrease in performance). I did see this post https://forum.alphacool.com/threads...080-3090-rtx-no-longer-cooling-properly.5948/ but was hoping a simple cleaning with citric acid solution would avoid having to disassemble the cooler to clean it? I've relatively new to custom loops and I've seen others state that you should clean out a new system anyway to remove manufacturing residues before putting into production. Thoughts?

These are deposits from the ingredients in the coolant. The system should be cleaned thoroughly. Distilled water alone will no longer be enough here.
You need to flush it properly with a cleaning kit, such as article 13016, before adding new coolant.
Please do not use distilled water for filling, otherwise the AIO may fail within 6–12 months. Use a good quality coolant instead.
