The DC-LT 2 is a newer version with an improved motor and new electronics. As a result, it is quieter and runs more smoothly than the older version. However, it is not more powerful.
I would first check which AIO is making the noise. It may simply be microbubbles, or the coolant may just need to be replaced. I would also recommend flushing both AIOs thoroughly.
Please do not use only distilled water as the new coolant under any circumstances. Use a clear premixed coolant instead.
