Alphacool International GmbH, based in Braunschweig, Germany, is a pioneer in the field of PC water-cooling technology. With one of the most comprehensive product portfolios in the industry and more than 20 years of experience, Alphacool is expanding its Apex lineup with two new Distro Plates for the Hyte Y70 and Y70 Touch Infinite.
The Distro Plates have been developed specifically for the Y70 series and replace the front cover of the case. This makes the water-cooling loop not only a functional part of the system, but also a key visual element of the build. Available in black and white, both versions are matched to the corresponding case colors and blend naturally into the design of the Y70.
As part of the Apex product line, the Distro Plates combine premium materials with an exceptional design. Made from high-grade acrylic glass, they offer a clear view of the water-cooling loop, while integrated aRGB lighting adds subtle accents to the system.
The chrome-plated G1/4" brass fittings are not screwed directly into the acrylic. Instead, the two-piece fittings use an O-ring and interlock during installation. This construction reduces stress on the acrylic and helps prevent leaks caused by cracks around the fittings.
A newly developed pump mount supports both D5/VPP and DDC pump formats, giving users greater flexibility when planning their custom water-cooling setup.
For even more flexibility, Alphacool is also introducing a new sealing cap for VPP/D5 pump mounts. It securely closes an unused pump position and allows the pump to be placed elsewhere in the loop, giving users more freedom when configuring their system.
