I have an Asus mainboard Z690 with Intel i9-12900KF at stock. I have received the new metal back plate from Alphacool for LGA1700 and I must say that the temperatures have improved by 3/6 degrees.
The best result I got using the holes on the motherboard for LGA1200 and not the external ones for LGA1700 because in my opinion, with the internal ones, even if very little, the mounting pressure is better.
Anyone have feedback on this?
