Old top not screwing onto new reservoir

Hi,

I just purchased a new reservoir (15184 Alphacool Acryl Tube 60x213mm (DxH) - Satin) to replace my old cracked clear one.
Although it screws right into the D5 base, the old top (single inlet) does not seem to have to same thread as the new reservoir as it will only screw in 1 and a half threads.

Can someone confirm this?

Will buying a new top (15293 Alphacool Eisbecher Acryl Top) fix the issue?
And does the new top come with a new o-ring?

All reservoirs with an diameter of 60mm are using the same thread and the tube should fit. Can you please send us a photo or Video where we can check it.

This is as far as it will go on either end of the new reservoir.

The weird thing is that the new reservoir fits the base no problem, and the top fit the old reservoir no problem.

when both sides of the tube are fitting the bottom, it seems like the top is defective. I would kindly ask you to contact our support team to start an RMA with them ( info@alphacool.com)

It's a really old top, I'll just order a new one.
