Problems with Eisblock Aurora Plexi GPX-N RTX 3090/3080 TUF with Backplate

Yesterday I installed this block on my TUF 3080 12GB and I have a number of problems.

1. Contact on the GPU is not good because I reached almost 60 degrees on the core (68 deg. on the hotspot)
2. Contact on the memory is even worse because I've reached 96 deg. on 3dmark Port Royal after 30 min loop and after touching backplate i've burned my fingers.

My hypothesis is that pads on the memory are too thin and heat transfer is not effective. I'd like to know if changing pads to 1.5mm thick would cause things to get better because almost 100 deg. on the memory while watercooling is someting of a nightmare.

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/...ra-acryl-gpx-n-rtx-3080-3090-reference/6.html - here is the test of Eisblock aurora for reference 3080 card on TPU and their temperatures are more than OK.

I've attached GPU-Z sensor log.

Hey, Its sounds like the famous packaging problem. Please shoot a couple of photos and send them to info@alphacool.com . We will check the prints of the pads and send you the ones that you need asap.

WTF?
oder ist das normal?

LG
