RTX 5000 GPU blocks distribution

I`m looking for 5080 Reference block (10248) since the end of last month.
As it showed delivery date in ~3weeks at the beginning of the month. I did not make an order, as I was hoping it might pop up sooner on some other retailers. (caseking, aquatuning, highflow etc.). But now I see at alphacool store it`s pushed back again to 2-3weeks estimate.
How is the distribution setup with those? Are alphacool retail shop orders filled first and then whats left is sent to retailers?
If so, then there is no hope to get it sooner from other retailers, if retail shop sells out before the stock comes in.

We have an extremely high number of pre-orders. Every shipment that comes in is immediately taken up by those pre-orders. That’s why the product is never really in stock. As soon as something arrives, it goes straight out to customers. Resellers also receive a portion of each delivery.

This situation isn’t likely to improve much over the next month either.

So, you basically have two options: place an order and get in line, or wait even longer until enough coolers have been shipped out and demand finally starts to slow down—at which point we might actually have some stock sitting on shelves.
Right now, we’re receiving more and more orders every single day.

But do other retailers get some as well, or is it only alphacool own store untill the demand slows down?

When some come in, they are divided between our own customers and resellers. I can't tell you exactly how this is done, Sales will clarify this directly with our CEO.

Ok, thanks. If they are divided, then there is a small chance to get a block from some other stores as well. If I cant find any next week, then I will bite the bullet and make an order on Alphacool store.

I made my order for 5080 Reference block on Alphacool store on April 24, 2025. (Order number: 10483847)
On May 2, 2025 the block was in stock for a short time at caseking, so I made the order there and it`s on the way to me. On the same day, I made an alphacool ticket to cancel my order, but no response so far.
