RX 7900 XTX MERC Thermal Pad

Hi, I installed the water block and the temperatures are all excellent. Unfortunately, I was stupid and forgot to insert pad B. the one circled in the photos. Have I made a serious mistake? do I have to remove the water block or can I leave it like this?

HI,

if you forgot to place this thermal pad, the component won´t be cooled and can therefore overheat, which can damage your GPU. I would highly recommend to place the thermal pad as written in the manual.
