scratches in GPU block in the flow path

I recently bought a Alphacool Core Geforce RTX 4090 Strix + TUF with Backplate. I flushed it several times before installing it and then flushed the whole system a few times when doing the leak test.



I can see the copper through the plating, it looks worse with liquid in it and the LEDs on. I was going to open it up but went and read the warranty and it states that I could void it by opening the block? Not sure how to proceed, I can't really be without my computer for more than a day or two right now.

as you have correctly read, opening the water block will void the offered warranty. Since these are only small optical flaws, you can either contact your retailer directly to get a discount or replacement. If you have purchased it directly from us, write us a mail to info@alphacool.com.
