Screw plug on radiator

Dear,

Do you know if the Alphacool Eiszapfen screw plug V.2 G1/4 (17468) is compliant with my Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper Radiator 420mm (14179) ?
I don't think so as I'm afraid of loosing the plug inside if I continue to screw ?

If not, do you think I can fix the plug with some special waterproof glue used in plumbing ?

The V2 screw plugs are not compatible with this radiator. They only fit certain products and the V.2 or HPE radiators, not the NexXxoS radiators. Since the V2 screw plugs have a flat seal at the bottom of the thread, they require an internal contact surface within the thread of the product in order to seal properly. This contact surface does not exist in the standard NexXxoS radiators.

Glue or similar substances are not suitable for sealing. We have had bad experiences with this in the past. I cannot recommend attempting a DIY solution here — it will only lead to problems and, in the worst case, to hardware damage if water leaks out.
