Thermalpad dimensions for 4090 TUF waterblock

Hi,

I'd like to use Gelid Ultimate thermal pads. Could you tell me how many of them I need to buy and which dimensions and thickness?

If I am not mistaken there is again the package height drama like with the previous gen.

HI,

you can find the needed thickness in the manual. You will need 1mm and 3mm pads.

HOw many you have to purchase I can´t say, since I don´t know the dimension from Gelid.

HI,

If your GPU is affected with the GPU DIE sitting different as Nvidia is saying. You will need softer Pads not thinner ones. We are speaking here about 0,1-0,2mm difference. This will cause that hard 1mm Pads are to thick and 0,75mm PAds are to thinn. Therefore is your GPU is affected with the problem contact us info@alphacool.com so that we can check and send you the special softer pads to solve the problem.
