TPV vs EPDM?

What is the main difference between these two tube types? Is one preferred over the other?

There is not much difference. TPV is slightly softer than EPDM. Basically, it doesn't really matter which one you use.

Thanks @Eddy.

Does it mean TPV is easier to bend in tight spaces? Reading more online I saw conflicting information on bend radius.

I'm planning to buy these fittings:

Is it such that only the TPV version needs the clamping kit as well, where as the EPDM version will work fine with just the fittings?

It always depends on which other tubing you compare it with. PVC tubes can be bent more easily when dry. But in operation, PVC becomes soft, gives way, and can even kink completely.
EPDM is a bit stiffer than TPV, at least ours. They are harder to route. But in the end, there’s no perfect answer. The bend radius you get on the desk isn’t fully comparable to the bends you’ll have inside the case. Personally, I find TPV to be a bit more flexible than EPDM.
