Uhg Core block doesn't fit in O11XL Horizontal.

This was a bit of a bummer. Got the card installed into the slot and noticed that the glass isn't going to close.
The water coupler sticks out ~5mm too far. Lian Li o11 XLs are a popular choice for water cooling. How did this get past testing? Now I'm going to have to find a good riser and redo the lower rad fittings. I also have a back plate cooler that will be more of a pain with the vertical riser.

We do not test compatibility with cases. The width of the GPU cooler also depends on the width of the GPU's PCB.
Most people using this case opt for a vertical installation so the cooler is nicely visible.

There are hundreds of cases on the market, including many popular ones for water cooling setups. You'll need to measure it yourself to see what fits best.

Fair enough. I shouldn't have assumed it would fit. However, the Tube attachment block seems excessively wide. Already knowing that the cards are fat, why not attempt to make that part as narrow as possible. My previous card's block (Kingpin) attach point is 10mm narrower than the CORE. Having CAD models for the Top N cases to test before a single block is made seems like a good idea. I'm feeling like form won over function here.

well got it installed vertically. Had to do some creative bending with the tubes. The PCIE riser cable seems to be a bottle neck. says Gen 5 but not getting the perf I used to. Card temp doesn't get above 45c no matter the OC settings. I also now need to buy another Moddiy cable because I have the B connector which puts the cable down the front.

The terminal blocks are the same on all of our coolers. With the sheer number of coolers we sell and the vast variety of GPU models out there, it's simply not feasible for us to design each block individually. If we did, we’d have to charge significantly more than the current €200 price point.

And what exactly are the “top” cases? Are we talking about Germany, the US, the UK, Japan, Australia? What’s popular in the US might not even be available in Europe, and vice versa. In Asia, many of the well-known European and American brands are irrelevant. We sell worldwide, so while the idea sounds simple, it’s just not realistic to implement on a global scale.

A lot of thought does go into these things, but from a customer’s perspective, many things seem much simpler than they actually are. Unfortunately, that’s often not the case.
