Confirmed and in work:
Powercolor:
RX 9070XT Hellound
RX 9070XT Red Devil
RX 9070XT Reaper

XFX
RX 9070XT Mercury
RX 9070XT Quicksilver
RX 9070XT Swift

Asus
RX 9070XT Prime
RX 9070XT TUF
RX 9070 TUF
RX 9070 Prime

Gigabyte
RX 9070XT Aourus
RX 9070XT Gaming

Sapphire
RX 9070XT Pure
RX 9070XT Nitro+
RX 9070XT Pulse
RX 9070 Pulse

ASrock
RX 9070XT Steel Legend

These will probably be all the models that are coming. We will now slowly put a stop to production, as we generally can no longer keep up with production and customers now have to wait many weeks for their coolers. In addition to the AMD cards, we have already postponed the launch of other Nvidia coolers due to the extremely high order volumes.

We have received a few Non XT models. But so far the PCB layout has been identical to the XT models.
Is the Steel Legend the same as the Taichi ?

Created an account (mostly) to say thank you! It's quite rare to have a company interact this openly with its user base, it's very refreshing.

I'm in the process of ordering all the bits for a new system, looks like GPU block will be last.
Do you have any indications as to which blocks of the ones listed might release first? I'd just get a Taichi, but I don't fancy the power connector much.

I appreciate all the info on block development. It's really great to see this. Looking forward to the AsRock Steel Legend.

Question. Buying a block in the USA? Will retailers such as ModMyMods, TitanRig, etc be receiving decent stock of 9070 XT blocks? Or will most blocks be sold from the Alphacool shop in Germany?

We will also supply retailers. However, I can’t tell you how much stock they’ll be getting. We’re currently very far behind in production. It will take us about another 5–6 weeks just to fulfill all pre-orders for the current coolers.

We’ll begin opening up the next round of pre-orders gradually starting at the end of this month. I can’t yet say which coolers will be included — we’ll decide that spontaneously, as all of them are basically ready to go.

But realistically, nothing will likely be shipped before the middle of next month.

I know that being patient is tough. But right now, it feels like we don’t really have any competitors left on the market — and everyone is turning to us. That’s great in one sense, but it’s also putting us under a lot of pressure because we weren’t prepared for this level of demand.

I just have to say that from a business perspective, you guys made a great decision to fully support the 9070XT. I have a feeling there have been many people like me who can't justify spending (literally) double the amount of a 9070 to get a 5080. I for one was hoping for a 5080, but "settled" for a 9070XT instead. After using the card for a few weeks, I couldn't be happier with that choice. But the 9070XT was only an option for me BECAUSE you guys are water cooling it.

I realize that a "70" series card from either manufacturer is not typically "enthusiast-level" enough to justify water-cooling, but these are different times, and this is a great card. So, thank you!

Thanks for the kind words. Well, it was clear from the beginning that we would be making coolers for the 9070. The 7XXX series performed quite well for us, too. The 9070XT is basically what the 7900XT should have been. Great performance, including ray tracing, and similar efficiency to its direct competition. At least in gaming, it's an unconditional recommendation if you're looking to spend no more than €1000.

I wouldn't classify it as a mid-range card either. In my eyes, the "70" naming scheme doesn't really matter anymore. These cards have reached a price range that effectively positions them in the high-end segment. To me, the 4090 and 5090 are somewhat outside the usual lineup—most customers I know don't primarily use them for gaming but rather as affordable solutions for professional applications. And honestly, the 9070XT isn't that far off from a 5080 or 4080.

That's exactly why it would be foolish not to offer coolers for these cards.

Agree with all of this 1000%.

It looks like you guys at Alphacool are getting a LOT of attention for the new generations of GPU's from 2025. I would place my bets that lots of the EKWB following has now turned their attention to Alphacool (myself included) and I can say I have never been this excited for a new GPU cooler! Keep up the amazing work!

I'll be sure to tag Alphacool in my posts once the new build is setup and complete. This is going to be my cleanest loop I've ever made (hopefully) in my 7 years of watercooling!

Would love to get a waterblock for my Gigabyte 9070 (non xt) OC Edition. How likely is it that they will make a block for the non XT variant? I am extremely happy with this card as I am upgrading from a GTX 1060. The prices here in Canada were not obscene but it was over $100 (CAD) more for the XT version. Overclock and udervolting with this card is giving me great performance and I would love to add this to my water cooling loop!

Edit: I just read that they are planning on making a Gigabyte gaming 9070XT but also said that the pcb's for the non xt are the same. This makes me excited!

just read you have so much preorders of the GPU Coolers for 9070XT but I only found the Taichi in the shop. Are the preorders only for this GPU or is there any "hidden" preorder form for other GPUs that I didn´t recognize. I need one for the ASUS 9070XT Prime and regularly look at the shop to preorder one :) can you give some infos about this topic?

You misunderstood or I expressed myself incorrectly. We have tons of pre-orders on the Nvidia coolers that we already have in the store. That's why we haven't put the AMD coolers in the store yet, because we can hardly keep up with the production of the Nvidia coolers. However, we will get this under control in the course of the month, when the other AMD coolers will also be launched on the market. There are still various other Nvidia coolers to come. We are currently holding back around 20 coolers so that we fall even further behind.
