What material is used in Alphacool Eisbaer LT240 CPU Cooler?

I've recently acquired a Alphacool Eisbaer LT240 and was expecting to have the CPU cooler looking like copper.
Can you confirm which material is being used here?

It is a Nickle plated copper bottom.

Hi Eddy,

Help me out understand why is it that we buy a copper bottom and get a nickel plated copper bottom?
Shoudln't this be properly documented somewhere? Not even product pictures show it.

Can you please explain why the product differs from what is announced and why this change has been
introduced, to understand the rational behind it.

We have changed the cooler bottom because copper can tarnish over time and then look unattractive. The nickel plating protects the copper cooler bottom from visual damage. But it does not change the cooling performance. We just haven't changed the pictures in the shop yet, but we will. I'm afraid that was simply forgotten.
