    Fill Cap w/Breather Hole

Apologize for not quite understanding but this sounds confusing to me. You said they are only necessary if you don't have a reservoir, that would mean a completely sealed out of the box AIO like Corsair makes correct, which don't have a reservoir. I have a reservoir in my system, a Alphacool...

    Fill Cap w/Breather Hole

Just completed my first custom loop, I would assume it's a closed system similar to a AIO, however I've noticed that accessories for a custom loop gives you an option for a Fill Cap with a breather hole. Is this necessary? What are the advantages if any? Thanks for reading & your thoughts.

    Coolants, Radiators, & Cleaning

Oh Boy...Not what I wanted to hear. I thought that being brand new wouldn't be an issue. If anything I was thinking the radiator was the only thing to be concerned about, guess not. This means I have to dismantle my entire system and rinse everything out and start again. Not happy right now...

    Coolants, Radiators, & Cleaning

Just completed my first custom water loop & pressure test, all good so far. No coolant added as yet. I went with all Alphacool products: Radiator - full copper 280mm ST30, Water Block - Chrome Eisblock water block (Silver & Black), Connectors/Fittings - Eiszapfen fitting/connectors, Tubing...

    Custom Water Loop Coolants

Just completed my first custom water loop & pressure test, all good so far, however, need advice on coolant. No dye's necessary, I want clear coolant because my pump/reservoir is Alphacool Rise Flat Reservoir D5 which is a transparent reservoir. Too many choices & not enough experience on my...

    Alphacool Pump Connections & Tubing

Great information, thanks for your insight, very much appreciated. As I go along other questions come to mind. I would like to run the loop before activating the pc & installing Windows 11, is it possible to activate the pump without turning on the pc? I want to fill the system before activation...

    Alphacool Pump Connections & Tubing

Eddy - Thanks for responding. I just placed the tubing in place instead of inserting all the way for photo purposes. What was confusing is I read that you can add these to your build for decorative purposes, not that I'd want to, hence between collar & connector, but seems silly if it is for...

    Alphacool Pump Connections & Tubing

Thanks for your response. The connectors I have are Alphacool Eiszapfen 16/10mm compression fittings G1/4. If I read you right I need those because I have G 1/4", am I correct here? An if so where would they go?

    Alphacool Pump Connections & Tubing

I have a few builds under my belt but this is my first attempt at custom water cooling & have a couple of questions. Hope to get some answers from others who are more experienced. 1. Purchased this pump & there are 2 connections in a braided cable that runs from the pump, one is a Sata...

1st Custom Water Loop, Have Questions!

Thanks for responding. What type of 12V connector is used to connect the pump to the PSU? And the 2 types of dimensions for soft tubing, is that the difference between thin walled & thick walled tubing?

1st Custom Water Loop, Have Questions!

Thanks for your reply. Yes you answered most of my questions, but on question (1) You said 12mm & 13mm connections for hardline tubing. I am leaning towards soft tubing for ease of use & since its my first attempt. Which type connector would I use for soft tubing, the Chrome Eiszaphen type...
