I am sorry for resurrecting the thread, but has anything changed in last 1.5 years?
I believe Apex/Core line has been introduced since then, I remember seeing only D-Ram line of coolers.
So there are at least two customers. You have demand!
Jokes aside, I was forced to use PCI-Express flexible riser to detach the GPU from confines of typical slot placement. My case has 10 total PCI slots, so I was able to mount it below motherboard. Not ideal, but there was no other workaround.
I understand.
Well, it's either I have to swap my card for iChill one or unfortunately find different block :(
Thank you very much for your help! I really appreciate it.
These parts are okay, especially the bubble shield!
I even have a spare tube, but I do lack end cap. The one you have is better than mine (it has 4 ports, which means I can leave fillport connected permanently), so I will order one.
My issue is I can't remove the remnant of the old tube from...
PCI-e bracket - the piece of metal that covers the slot opening in the back of the case, where HDMI and DP outputs are. I actually didn't know if there is proper name for this part in English, and you're calling it I/O bracket, so it's that, I apologize for the confusion.
It's a shame it's two...
This is kind of sad. Not gonna lie, I LOVE the design of ES block and its functionality.
I'm going to pass on Eiswolf, since I already have functional loop (it's using Aurora block with different terminal anyway, am I right?).
The Auora and Core blocks - does any of these clear next PCI-e...
Thank you for reply, but I bought this set in 2017, and it has been on since then. It's way past any RMA window.
At this point it's more of salvage operation :)
I had a structural failure or a tube reservoir, it cracked most likely due to temperature change. Computer has been under constant load had stable high ~50 deg. C liquid temp for several years 24/7/365, and during CPU upgrade, after powering down the computer it cracked and sheared off without...
Hello!
I have workstation motherboard, and I am in dire need of having access to all of the PCI-Express slots.
I had my finger firmly over "buy" button for the 4090 ES Reference Design block, until I noticed dreaded "is not compatible with FE".
Two questions:
1. Is it complete incompatibility...
Due to marked components - part of integrated PMIC. These components stick out 2 millimeters above PCB on each side, bringing total thickness over what D-RAM can accommodate - you can't slide the plates further apart.
Thank you!
Do you think it would be possible to mod the coolers, for examply by adding a shim to widen the distance between side plates and thicker thermal pads?
As in the subject - can I use the D5 DDR5 modules with LRDIMM/RDIMMs (Registered DIMMs, or server memory, they are different from desktop UDIMM modules, and pin-incompatible). The DDR5 RDIMM modules have pretty prominent VRM elements on the center of the module, with thickness of up to 2 mm on...
