You are right. The XPX cooler is installed in the Eisbaer Extreme. You can use the Alphacool Apex Backplate XPX/Eisbaer LGA 1700 Metal Full Cover or the Alphacool Core Backplate XPX/Eisbaer LGA 115X/1200/1700 Metal with the XPX cooler for mounting on the corresponding Intel sockets.

With the loop it is definitely advisable to install a D5 pump to increase the flow. This is not a guarantee, but 2 DC-LT2 pumps are definitely no longer sufficient for a good cooling performance.
