Nielsen,
what are you cooling your CPU with? And much load are you applying?
I have the 3960x and have 2x 280 extreme and that is still not enough to keep it cool during prolonged periods of running at full tilt 90-100%
Thanks Monta,
I think I included the second photo more to show the ccx frequency then the temp. I’ll double check.
i think it was HWMonitor and SIV app but I’ll check I think I did another screenshot
the block is beautiful ? like I don’t built computers to show off. They go under the desk...
Thanks Eddy,

Hi guys
Is there a calculator to work out how much radiator you need to cool 280w TPD?
How do you work it out to ensure you have enough to cool things down?
Thank you for your time
henrik
Hi Monitorheor,
did you sort it out>
Its hard to work out how and what you are doing with just one image. I thought your screws couldn't reach or were too long, hence the spacer.
I do hope you work it out, all the best from Down under

Hi Monitorhero,

Hi Eddy
thanks you for your support and help
I found the source of the noise, the GIGABYTE TRX40 DESIGNARE has a little fan hidden under the I/O panel.

Hi Eddy,
I know you are in Germany ? but you must be starting work like the Spanish  lol

Ok, I am back to learn more

@Burro
There is nothing excessive in that setup
I think the advantage with Alphacool is that you can interchange things - add, replace etc.
using two Alphacool Extreme 280 to cool a Threadripper with a full cover cpu block
Thanks Eddy, I feel like I keep filling it but it’s only about 600ml so far so I keep topping it up.
After I send this message I could fit another 150ml
still learning- thanks for your help
Hi Alphacool,
I think you have missed an opportunity here, to provide easy access to the pump adjustment without having to dismantle the unit.
one should be able to adjust the speed with ease, if required.
I am currently at default settings, and when pushing the cpu it’s like sitting next to...
