Nielsen, what are you cooling your CPU with? And much load are you applying? I have the 3960x and have 2x 280 extreme and that is still not enough to keep it cool during prolonged periods of running at full tilt 90-100%

@Burro There is nothing excessive in that setup I think the advantage with Alphacool is that you can interchange things - add, replace etc. using two Alphacool Extreme 280 to cool a Threadripper with a full cover cpu block
